It is always nice to welcome new friends. :)<br /><br />Secondly, may I wish you best of luck with your blog. At first I had trouble thinking of things to write about but after a while you will find that subjects just 'turn up'.<br /><br />That to me is a swede (and always has been) but it was in the news lately, I think in relation to what goes into a Cornish Pasty?<br />I can't remember exactly, but I think it was because in Cornwall they call a Swede - <br />- a Turnip!<br />Now in Scotland, they call turnips just "neeps" and have them with Haggis.
