Pinwheel

I started this embroidery last year, but have only just found time to finish it. It's  made  from a 'Royal School of Needlework'  kit.

    1. I'm going to keep it for myself and if I can bring myself to pull out the pins I may even use it. :o)

    1. :o) It's a pinwheel. It is used to store pins. The gold beads around the edge are the heads of pins :o)

  4. Beautiful work and lovely colours. Could you bear to use it? It seems too lovely to languish in a drawer!

  5. Maybe I could use it for special projects only, but then, I already have a special project pinwheel. I know! Goldwork projects only. :o)

  6. Looks to me like it should be framed as is. The pin heads add to its attractiveness.
