Buying them is no 'sin'. :) You could always share them? After all "A problem shared is a problem halved". Mmmm. I can't think of the word for three. Thirded? Ha,ha. You are lucky you know. My Dad worked at Cadburys in Bournville, and staff could buy those eggs (as seconds) for just pence. We had so much chocolate in those days (1950's) that it put me off for life! I now actually refuse choccies if they are offered. Now, Red Wine and good cheese, or a Beer and Pork Scratchings - different 'kettle of fish'! :) Cheers....B.
Seasonal eating - isn't that the way we are supposed to go? Then, of course, they are much smaller these days...so your guilt should be that much less.
Is it the chocolate or the toy which tempts you, AJ? Treat yourself and let us know what you find inside. Kinder eggs are the ones which have the toy inside, aren't they?
hee hee. I have some creme egg ice cream lollies in my freezer....
ReplyDeleteOoh Kath, I've not seen those. I'll look out for them.
Delete...and of course you will wait for Easter before you eat them!

DeleteI've just been in the £1.00 shop and managed to resist the eggs but came out with fudge fingers and kit kats instead, just as bad. lol

DeleteI agree though, red wine and good cheese beats chocolate.

ReplyDeleteSeasonal food and smaller. Thankyou Elaine for reminding me of that. Now I can eat all three with a clear conscience.
DeleteMmmm cant resist creme eggs myself.
ReplyDeleteThey are always displayed in the most prominent place in the supermarket. It's no good trying to avoid them. Resistance is futile.
DeleteIt's Kinder eggs for me. But I understand the craving.
